The Booker Prize has announced its 2026 longlist, selecting 13 novels from 163 submissions. The list includes two previous winners, three debut novelists and writers representing seven countries across three continents.
The judging panel is chaired by Mary Beard. The six-book shortlist is scheduled for 22 September, followed by the winner announcement on 9 November.
